Some have a lot of fans simply because they're engaging, others have only 14 even if their art is cool, because they dont reach for the community.
Youtube is based on an algorithm that push people stats, without a sense of community.
Newgrounds isn't the same. There's no algorithm, if we want to be seen, we have to do things to be seen, like directly speaking to people (many people have done their own art thread), collabs and art trades, etc...
Newgrounds is a lot different from others common social media, and it's best it stay this way. It actually promote the social aspect! :D

In my opinion i would be against this type of over-precise stats, because some are already obsessed with numbers, it will give them more to be anxious about than anything else...
If someone want "to gain fans and likes" they have to take criticism (to improve), show their art(so people actually see it), actually learn about their tools, not fearing failure and experiment a lot, and taking pride and fun in what they do! :)

Maybe, but the concept still makes you see if you do some errors ... It helped me at my "youtube time" .
Anyway, you are right tho, but maybe simply add something to informate if you got better results than before without giving numbers would be fine ?
