@FantasistEldrun Your journey is entirely between you and God- or whatever you choose to believe/not believe in. This is true of your musical journey as well.
I choose personally not to market my music because I believe it to be a divine gift, something I should share, rather than profit from. Many don’t feel this way about their music, and that’s alright, too.
I’ve worked with people over the years whose entire income was their music, and I find that not only respectable but impressive. It’s not an easy business in which to gain a foothold, let me tell you.
But your life is the divine gift. So long as you go on living, you will go on experiencing and then sharing your experiences through your art. That’s a beautiful thing, no matter how much money is involved.
Don’t rush new DAW’s (Designer Audio Workshops) either. If you are comfortable in Audacity, work with Audacity until it feels like it no longer meets the quality standard you desire to set for your finished works. At *that* point, I’d start looking at breaking into a new software for new sounds, new tools.

Audacity is a great place to start! It’s where I and many others started. But if you really want to dive into it, please allow me to make a recommendation-
Mixcraft served me dutifully for many years. If you look at a lot of my tracks between 2013-2016 you’ll see different versions of it varying from Mixcraft 3- Mixcraft 7 Pro Studio.
It is very similar in its layout to audacity, and will feel very natural in transition- like slipping into a pair of new shoes that are just the right size.
The Pro versions cost money, but I’m fairly certain they offer a “Lite” version Thats free- but you won’t be able to lease any music you made for money.
That’s a thing I’ve strictly avoided digitally speaking- I never try to sell my music, so copyright never interests me. That said, it is my understanding that purchasing Mixcraft Pro Studio grants you copyright freedom with all their loops.
If you are on a Mac- never underestimate GarageBand. :)

Thank you so much for the reccomandation !
Yeah, I'll try that so... My only question is : Since I'll not sell my songs, will I still have the option to accept donations from people if I make something for this someday ?
