The stupidest question (Part 1)

Posted by FantasistEldrun - 3 hours ago

I were playing with the Wayback machine on newgrounds... And I have been very surprised by something. An user (named @murgee) have published some musics in 2015, and had the chance of having the 3 first submissions appearing on the main page of the website.

But after researches, I found that all of his audio have been deleted by the moderation team (like http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/658706)

My question (do not search to answer it, it'd be too long, but just in case you'd have an idea) is : Why ?

If I had to guess I would say he sampled music he didn't own the rights to. Or maybe they could have been someone else's work entirely? Could be multiple reasons.

The fact that so much time later have a definitive answer is impossible is the fact that made me want to ask the question :)

You're probably right too, there can be many reasons but the most probable is the unauthorized use of external musics — Since all of his musics got deleted. But then... Why is his account still active ?

Edit : His account is still functional, not active.

You can be banned from the audio portal (or any other portal) without having your account deleted, he probably just stopped using it.

Yea maybe, you're right
